| "Rats Rall Right Reorge"While growing up the cartoons from Hanna-Barbera Animation were always my favorites and THE JETSONS is one of that studios best series. JETSONS: THE MOVIE follows in this fine and funny tradition and gives a nice environmentally friendly lesson as well. All the main characters from the series are here including nice working guy George, his pretty wife Jane, typical teenage daughter Judy, cute son Elroy, bossy robot maid Rosie, greedy boss Mr. Spaceley and loyal but slobbering dog Astro who foreshadowed Scooby Doo by starting almost every word with the r sound. Some cute aliens are introduced in the movie that liberally borrow traits from both the Smurfs and the Ewoks. The soundtrack is pure early 90s teen music (teen icon of the late 80's "Tiffany" voices daughter Judy) which is not a favorite style of mine but this is a decent representation. Kids and younger adults who have never seen the original show will like this movie for its humorous moments, lovable characters and creative "future" view. The film provides some nostalgia for adults who remember watching this on TV either in its first run or repeats.
Cute movie great music but storyline is dragged out alot, great for huge fans of JetsonsI love the Jetsons and I am a big fan of anything made in the 80s and early 1990s but what made me purchase this film was when I found out that singer Tiffany has original songs in the movie that arent available anywhere else, I have always loved her voice and her music so I purchased the film. there is alot of cute parts and funny parts and Tiffanys music is great in it but the story line seems drawn out and long in some parts and wouldn't keep my attention so how would it for children? I would say its a decent animated movie but not the best, but a must have for fans of Tiffany and any hard core Jetsons fans also.

Fun Movie, Disappointing DVDI first saw Jetsons: The Movie when I was 12 years old and I loved the animation in it, which still stands up and looks great now, in 2009.
As much as I liked the movie, though, I was very disappointed that this was a bare-bones disc. Yeah, it's great to have the movie in widescreen, but at the very least would it have hurt them to include the trailer?
I also think, if the recorded material of Janet Waldo as Judy does indeed exist, an "alternate audio cut" should've been made available as a bonus feature. It's already odd enough to have a different Elroy; but knowing that a Janet Waldo Judy was a possibility, it's a shame to not have it.
Then again, the price of the DVD is really low, so I guess we get what we paid for.

I have been waiting for a VERY long time for this DVD and it comes in a Single-Disc, Barebone No Bonus Features, No Scene Section, Matted Widescreen, not Remastered Edition! :x

Jetsons: The Movie is a classic and to me should have been treated as one! I am still happy that I finally have it on some form on DVD. Even though it is very upsetting DVD release. :(
