Handsome Piece of EquipmentThis thing is built like a German tank. Solid and heavy. It can kill somebody if you throw it as a weapon. The color is more like an orangey (if there such a word) red. Anyway, every detail on this stapler is great. The steel is thick gauged. Paint looks like baked or dipped and not something you can easily chipped. Nice simple classic style.
Of course, I bought it because of that Milton guy in that movie "Office Space". But really, it is such a handsome piece of equipment. This is one quality product. Love it; and I would really hate anybody stealing it from my desk!
"I believe you have my stapler..."It is everything that I had hoped for...smooth lines, mechanically flawless and bright Rio Red finish. This retro stapler does the trick. I am the envy of the office! Not only is this 747 Swingline a great stapler, it also can double as a defensive weapon. It is heavy, and can easily be thrown at a would be assailant intent on "stealing" your tape dispenser or desk pen. The only way you can ensure that your stapler doesn't end up entombed in a pool of Jell-O is to buy everyone in your office one!
(office) Life is better than goodHow many times did I lose my indistinct, black, regulation stapler? I lost count. How many times did I notice that there were 2 or three, indistinct, black, regulation staplers on my desk and I had no idea were they came from? I lost count.
It can't be so with a distinct, red, well-designed stapler such as this one. Everyone now knows that the red stapler is mine and I know that none of the black, boring staplers are mine. Life used to be good then. Life is better than good now. :)
Note to the makers: please look into making a red staple remover because the Swingline(R) 100 Deluxe Staple Remover is only available in regulation Black.
We need to talk about your TPS reports.Had to put in an office space quote somewhere. I originally bought one because I had a gift certificate and I'm a huge fan of the movie. From a fan's perspective it is a great piece. It's fun to have someone over who happens to recognize it.
As a stapler it couldn't be better. I have been using mine for at least three years now and I have never had a problem with jamming or smashed staples mangling paper. It's heavy duty metal construction makes it an extremely robust piece of office equipment which can really take abuse.
Love itThis sure is much more superior than those cheap plastic staplers at my office place. Works like a charm...though this staple indicated it can staple up to 20 pages, I have stapled 30 pages together w/ out any problem. As you can never ever do w/ those plastic staplers. Now, all I have to do is fine a lock for it since my friend actually played a prank on me and hid it for a few days since they all know how excited i am about this stapler as I was demonstrating what it can do.
