-My kids love these. It really encourage their creativity. Their other sets include castles, knights, giants, dragons, wizards, pirates, etc. -Interactive - with cannons and bows/arrows that shoot projectiles, trap doors, audio and visual effects.

-A great alternative to Legos.
Cons:
-Price had gone up so much
-This is for older kids. A 4-year old will have a real hard time to snap them together and may feel frustrated.
-One set is not enough. You may really need to expand to do more.
Creativity is REQUIREDI capitalized "required" because the alternative arrangements cannot be made with the pieces in the kit. Of course, the alternatives are just pictures, no instructions; so I got close, but not exact. Regardless, my son loves the set and I have a bit of fun putting it together. And, as other reviewers have written, he has tons of fun demolishing it! Does anyone know if there are add-on pieces for Phantom Island?
It's amazing!The Phantom Island playset provides a lot of imaginative and fun play. It has interactive stuff going on so it doesn't "just sit there."
Great Toy!This is a great toy for my 6 yr old nephew. I saw him and a friend playing with this and they were having a ball. I need to get more sets to go along with it! Also, it is of great size!
I Threw my imaginext set in the garbage too! I purchase a couple of imaginext castle sets...only to be too frustrated putting them together and like the other reviewers claim imaginext falls apart very easily. My sets were in a scrambled pile of pieces just collecting dust in my son's room. I checked ebay for selling a used set but they had no resale value so I just threw the imaginext sets in the trash. Now I have more space.
